 Jake is very happily married with 3 wonderful children and lives in North London. He has spent 18 years in IT recruitment starting in 1988 as a Recruitment Consultant placing permanent IT staff in the RDBMS sector. Jake spent 2 years recruiting Microsoft developers and Senior IT executives. After 10 successful years recruiting he moved into management and grew a team of permanent recruitment consultants from 6 to 35. After managing people for 8 years Jake decided to go back to his roots and deal actively with clients and candidates again.

 

Jake has successfully recruited for clients including Oracle Corporation, LogicaCMG, Sema, JP Morgan, MDIS and UBS; however, his real love is the SME sector, working with small dynamic accounting focused clients. Jake has 8 ‘O’ Levels, 2 ‘A’ Levels, an HND, 2 houses, a mortgage and an unreliable blue Peugot 306. Having been born in Norwich, Jake does not follow football!!

James has been married for 15 years, he has 2 children and lives in North London. He has worked as a permanent IT recruitment consultant since 1993, having started his career in  IT as a developer and support consultant. He still remembers “fram sys” fondly. James ran his own IT business in his early 20’s. For 2 years James was a Director of a 20 strong IT recruitment consultancy. He has always been known as “Mr. Nice”, because he is the nicest guy you will ever know.

 

James has successfully recruited for PWC, Arthur Anderson, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Microsoft, BSG, Tata Interactive and Saffron Interactive. James plays golf and drives a mini. He was once lead guitarist in a Punk band called “The Blasmalians”.  James last lost his temper when he was 3 years old.

Carolyn is exceptionally happily married (most of the time) with 3 fabulous children and she lives in North London. She has 27 years IT recruitment experience, from permanent and contract recruitment as a consultant through to MD of a 30 strong IT consultancy for over 10 years. Carolyn can read faster than anyone in the known world and is an expert on researching via the internet. She once won the Alfred Lord Tennyson cup for reading poetry and she still remembers her first client in 1979 who made Matchbox cars and were recruiting for punch card operators!

Mim manages the accounts, pays the VAT and makes sure that everything is properly organized. She also is happily married and lives in London. She has two children, Adam who is a Cancer and Ellie who is a Gemini. 

 

 

           

Luke Bowman             info@ambis.co.uk

 

Luke has just done extremely well in his ‘A’ Levels and is helping out during his gap year loading information on the database and generally being busy. He is the fastest data entry person we have ever met and also one of the brightest people we have ever met. Remember his name in 10 years time!
