Sage CRM Recruitment

What is CRM Software?

Sage CRM is the mid market product that Sage sells for Customer Relationship Management or CRM.

CRM software allows companies to manage customer information; to see who their customers are, what they bought, what they paid and what they might want to buy next.

CRM software also gives companies much better control over their sales staff, how many calls they have made, how much they have sold and it provides call lists and sales tracking and so on. Probably the best example of CRM at work is when I call my mobile phone provider; they know who I am and everything about my account. CRM software also allows the Sales Manager to keep complete control over the sales team and not miss opportunities.

The Sage CRM product started out as the CRM tool within Accpac. When Sage bought Accpac they realised the potential of the CRM module and started selling it as a standalone CRM solution. For a while it was called Sage MME and now it is called Sage CRM. It is also the CRM product within the larger Sage 1000 ERP product, although it has been modified to work with Sage 1000 ERP software.

Sage CRM continues to sell very well and is an excellent CRM product for the SME sector. On top of this, Sage’s continued investment in the Sage CRM product means that new functionality and features are regularly being released, and the need for up to date skills to get the best out of the product continues to grow.
