- Description
This busy ERP solutions company need a junior level Account Manager or Sales Support person or someone with software implementation experience who would like to move across and grow into an account management role.
The business has had great success over the past 20 years and has built a strong ERP client base, focusing on the SME space. The ERP solution they sell is aimed at SME companies across supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, construction, sales & CRM, wholesale, rentals, and engineering. They will pay up to £32k base salary, with a £6500 car allowance and an OTE of £45k which will increase as you learn and build your software and sales knowledge. You will need to be able to get to their offices near Sutton Coldfield in the Midlands, on a regular basis.
They want a bright, dynamic individual who has some sales and account management experience to assist the Account Director in maximising additional sales from existing clients, and someone who can juggle a wide variety of tasks. You will have some experience in software sales, sales support, or account management, or you may be in a junior implementation role, and are keen to move across to the sales side of the business. Some application software experience is essential, ideally ERP solutions or something similar such as dealer management software, WMS, construction or property management software, accounting, legal, MRP, or field service solutions.
You will start off by working with their inbound customer enquiries, managing client requests and communications, looking at project work, and scheduling and prioritising workflow. Then you will manage and produce estimates, schedule jobs, and obtain purchase orders for works, organise events, write reports, assist with client training, and create simple specifications for plug ins, apps, and dashboards.
From there, you will start to make outbound care calls to the existing client base of around 120 companies, building up strong relationships with each customer, going through their new business requirements and upselling additional software modules, support services, training & consultancy, licenses, system upgrades and new software releases, to help them make the most of their ERP system. You will stay in regular contact with your clients by phone, email, and occasional on-site visits to deal with their issues and discuss their ever-changing requirements.
You need to be able to maintain and develop these relationships, inspiring trust, and confidence, ensuring the clients are happy with their service offering, and making sure that you spot and optimise opportunities to sell and promote additional products and services.
Brilliant communications skills, an outgoing, friendly personality, the ability to create detailed client profiles and keep the CRM system up to date with records of your conversations, and keep the customer informed of events, product news, and new releases, are a must.
Perfect opportunity for someone looking to develop their career as an Account Manager in the ERP software sector, working for a professional, privately owned company with a brilliant track record.
