Description

A busy, international software company needs an Implementation Consultant with strong knowledge of the maintenance, repair, and overhaul areas of ERP solutions; this job is to work with their defence and airline / aerospace clients, as well as engineering and manufacturing companies, so they will need to get security clearance for you. Base salary to £60k with a £5k bonus and £6k car allowance, and excellent large company benefits. Fully remote, home based anywhere in the UK, with travel to client sites.

MRO is expected to become more expensive globally, than acquisition, and it is a huge sector worth over £2 billion worldwide. This software solutions company sell a top tier ERP solution with hundreds of modules, one of which is a market leader in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul sectors of ERP solutions. It covers raw materials, inventory lead times, supply chain, labour and workforce resources, financial risk, industrial production, product delivery, quality management, bid & quote, complex assembly, maintenance, component types, materials management, and product repairs.

They are looking for an ERP Consultant with experience of the MRO sector, who can engage with their clients, has strong functional skills, and can handle the full software implementation life cycle. This will cover scoping, running workshops, getting the requirements, understanding each customer's industry, service, maintenance, and repair needs, challenging the client where necessary, writing specifications, configuring the software to fit, documenting processes, implementing the solution, go-live and user training.

You will be working with cutting edge cloud software, on large meaty projects that will challenge and inspire you, as part of a team of intelligent, enquiring, analytical and skilled professional consultants.

They expect you to be degree educated in an area such as engineering, information technology, manufacturing, or business, with a deep interest in how software solutions can support business processes and drive success and profits in the MRO sector. Any experience of the aerospace, commercial airline or defence industries would be a bonus; you have strong business acumen, a commercial focus, and excellent analytical skills, and you are a strategic thinker and brilliant communicator.

The role is with a leading software company (4500 + employees), who are a global leader in large scale ERP, Field Service Management, Asset Management and CRM Software. This is a first-class opportunity to work for a world class software author, who are financially strong, continuing to expand and who offer terrific prospects for bright people and a long-term career.

The job is remote, anywhere in the UK. But when you need to go to their UK centrally based, head office, you get to experience a brilliantly designed space with interiors of wood, velvet and glass, large open spaces, a gym, cool break out areas for when you need some down time, restaurant, a conference room for up to 200 people with floor to ceiling state-of-the-art screens, and every new piece of technology you could think of.

This offers you a brilliant opportunity to work with a world class team, who are fun but very professional. It's an exciting company to be a part of, they have offices in 15 countries and offer an accelerated career path for bright, ambitious people. Staff retention here is amazing - many people have been with the company for over 10 years and 70% have stayed with them for at least 5 years, which is testament to their rewards system, recognition, work environment, career development and training.
