Description

ERP Sales Specialist for a new business sales role with a thriving software reseller in the south. Flexible hybrid working, with 2 days a week in the office between Monday and Thursday, (no one goes to the office on Fridays), and three days remote from home, plus visits to clients where required. Base to £70k, £60k commission uncapped, plus car allowance.

Reporting to the Sales Director, this job holds responsibility for driving new business sales of Sage X3 ERP software solutions, professional services revenue, and support contracts and licenses by sourcing, identifying, pursuing, and closing new clients. They are looking for a dynamic, positive, and hungry Business Development Manager / New Business Sales Executive, who can create initial interest, identify, define, and document a client's business needs, create a vision of the potential solutions to those needs, justify a return on investment, and qualify, control, and close the deals.

You will have a track record in new business sales of ERP solutions, and in an ideal world, you understand the areas of distribution, or warehousing, inventory, supply chain. The functionality of the finance modules of Sage X3 is so good, that that it's very easy to sell that area of the product, so you really don't need to have much understanding of the accounting aspects of ERP.

So, your background will be sales of solutions such as Kerridge, Epicor, SAP Business One, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Infor, IFS, Sage 200, or Sage X3, JD Edwards, Advanced Computers, D365, Greentree, Intact IQ, SunSystems or anything similar.

As well as new business sales, the company has 50 clients on Sage X3 support contracts generating £2milion in recurring revenue, and they are aiming to get to £4.25million in support contracts in 2023. Sage UK disbanded their own Sage X3 direct support team, so all those customers who were with Sage direct, are migrating their support to other Sage resellers, and there is a huge opportunity here, to close deals on support contracts as well as new business sales.

You need proof of your success so far, so you should be able to show your earnings, what you have won, what you have achieved and what you have lost. You are happy creating some of your own leads (the marketing team will supply many others), you can deal with the whole sales cycle from cradle to grave, you are a motivated and results driven salesperson, and you have a track record selling ERP solutions for a software reseller, software house or vendor / author.

This software company focus solely on the Sage X3 ERP product and have a great name and reputation in the market. The board directors are all super people, most still hands on and a fountain of knowledge for you. It's an excellent place to build on your ERP sales career.
