- Applications Support Consultant or 1st Line Support Analyst required for a brilliant software company - you will need prior experience of supporting ERP or Accounting Software or Finance Software and will be cross trained to one of the leading mid-market Accounting and ERP total business solutions. This role is office based in Birmingham and pays up to £30,000 plus pension and benefits, depending on your level of experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for - a software company with a 35 year track record who are award winning Partners of 3 vendors. You will be joining a busy, professional and friendly team of Application Support Consultants, Implementation Consultants and Project Managers. As part of their Application Support group, you will be taking enquiries by telephone and email and providing a resolution to clients' Accounting and ERP software problems. You will be logging and tracking your calls, escalating problems where necessary and building strong and lasting relationships with your customers.They are looking for someone with a professional approach, who loves problem solving and is dedicated to providing great service to their customers. You need to enjoy communicating with people and finding solutions to problems, and should have an enthusiastic 'can do' attitude and great customer service skills with a thirst for learning. They are looking for a First Line Support Consultant with proven experience of supporting Accounting / Finance / ERP software such as NetSuite, FinancialForce, Iris Exchequer, Aptean, IFS, Protean, Kerridge, Agresso, Sage 200, Pinewood, Dynamics NAV, Access Dimensions, Coda, Pegasus Opera, Epicor, Exact, Greentree, SAP Business One, eFinancials, OpenAccounts or similar. Ideally you will have knowledge of SQL Server and some expereince of writing scripts in T-SQL would also be advantageous.
