- Description
New role for an ERP Consultant with finance experience to work for the largest Epicor reseller in the UK who have a very strong client base and are winners of multiple awards. For over 25 years they have supplied, implemented and supported ERP business software to SME's and large corporates.
This position is based from home. On average you will be on client site 3 days a week, with 2 days working from home, and will probably visit the head office once every 3 weeks or so. So you can literally live anywhere in the UK as the clients are nationwide. Starting salary to £48k with a £3k bonus on top and a £5k car allowance, plus benefits.
Working on Epicor v9 and v10 ERP solutions, you will focus on their key markets within manufacturing, distribution, foods, retail and pharmaceuticals with an emphasis on the finance modules. They are still growing and winning new deals, plus they have go-lives scheduled for completion over the next few months so they need another ERP Consultant on board as soon as possible. As preferred Partners to Epicor, they get passed the leads first, so they continue to beat their competitors and win the deals.
Typical Epicor ERP projects here are 20 -200 consulting days, and you will need experience of the full ERP software implementation life cycle with good MS SQL skills, to manipulate data. If you have Epicor experience already then so much the better, but they are very happy to cross train you from a similar ERP solution such as Infor M3, Dynamics NAV, JDE, SAP Business One, Efacs, Greentree, Access Supply Chain, Sage 1000, UNIT4, Dynamics AX, SunSystems or similar. Any knowledge of the manufacturing / distribution and or food sectors, would be an added bonus.
You will gather client requirements, configure the Epicor ERP solution to meet those needs, map business processes, conduct functional design, conduct a quality implementation, handle the go-lives and train the users. Modules are likely to include finance, raw materials, make-to-order, production, and warehousing, finished goods, batch processing, sales order processing, CRM and distribution.
They follow structured methods for their project management and software implementation and have a very professional approach. If you are a talented ERP Consultant, with experience of finance, excellent communication and client facing skills looking for a new challenge with a leading UK reseller, this role should be explored.
This company is really going places, they have a can-do attitude, a great team of quality ERP Consultants, Project Managers and Support Analysts and a superb reputation for excellent service and fully managed Epicor services. Plus, the business is run by a really approachable MD.
