- Description
£70,000 base plus double OTE to Sell Sage X3 ERP. this is solution sales of ERP software staring with finance. You will have a strong ERP sales background selling to SME's in the UK.
This position requires a passion for new name business, qualifying and developing leads to closure and will be targeted on sales efforts within the core market sectors for Sage X3: Manufacturing & Distribution, Finance and Service; primarily, but not exclusively, in the UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing opportunities, some lead generation activity, building and executing solution-led bid strategies, managing sales cycles and ensuring new name customer wins against an achievable target.
The successful candidate will report to the Sales Director.
Following a probationary period, this is a full-time employed role. The successful candidate will be field and home based.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years' experience in a similar business to business (B2B) role selling 'ERP'/Business Management software solutions. Understanding of software solution selling and business requirements and processes is more important than exposure to Sage X3. Additionally, the following experience is essential:
- Understanding of the ERP marketplace: competitor knowledge, vendors and tiers
- Proven history of closing deals and meeting targets
- Experience & understanding of lead generation and qualification
Who we are looking for
The Solutions Sales Specialist will be someone with the skill, desire and ability to:
- Show good attention to detail including with administrative tasks and use of the Customer
Relationship Management system, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office suite etc.
- Be willing and able to make outbound 'first contact' ('cold' calls)
- Stay in regular contact with prospective customers - diligently noting interactions, follow-up's etc.
- Have understanding and appreciation of business processes across differing business types and how these may be interpreted for control within a business system
- Be confident, creative and curious
- Generally communicate clearly and effectively - written and orally
- Be respectful and reliable with a professional attitude and demeanour
- Be self-motivating and be able to work under own initiative
- Be an effective member of a team
- Work effectively as a remote worker
The successful candidate will have an approach to work that is flexible with a keen interest in developing their skills.
Location
Field & home based role; the candidate must be resident in the UK.
