- New opportunity for a savvy, motivated Application Support Consultant who has experience supporting Version One / V1 document management solutions (essential) - you will own this role and will be the go-to person in the company for V1 client and internal queries and problems. You will work closely with your customer base to troubleshoot and solve problems relating to their Version One document management software integrated to main stream accounting software products. The salary range on offer is circa £30-40k although they will go higher for an extremely experienced Version One / V1 document management Support Analyst. Our client has been in business for 20 years and is a very well regarded business software solutions company, small enough for you to make a difference. They provide a range of software in the ERP and accounting sectors which integrate with V1 document management solutions. They need an experienced V1 Support Consultant who can provide the highest levels of service to ensure their customers are satisfied and receive excellent helpdesk assistance. Although this is an office based software support role, there is a lot of scope here to move into project work, software implementation and consulting in the future - so this is a real career opportunity for the right person. You will own and investigate Version One support queries right through to resolution, providing assistance to your clients by phone, email, portals and remote connection, escalating problems to the software authors where necessary. You will log and track support requests adhering to SLA's and keeping good documentation. You will need to understand how Version One creates, scans, delivers, stores, archives and manages your clients' documents and how it integrates with mainstream accounting software such as Sage 200, Sage ERP X3, Infor SunSystems, Unit4 Agresso, Dynamics NAV, Access Dimensions and others. Your profile: *Excellent Application Support background *Version One / V1 Document Management Support skills essential *Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office *Enthusiastic with a professional approach *Analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail *A clear, logical thinker *Really good inter-personal and communication skills *Unflustered under pressure *Empathy with client issues and the problems that they encounter with software If you have good Version One / V1 Software Support experience and feel capable of taking on this role, it is a great opportunity for the right candidate with excellent prospects for your future.
