- Description
New role for a Software Implementation Consultant with finance and accounting software experience and knowledge of ERP, Property Management, Asset Management, Facilities Management, Construction Software or similar solutions. The role can be home based from anywhere in the UK, but you will have the customary travel to client sites, and should be able to get to the head office in the West Country once a week, so a Midlands, Wales, West Country, Home Counties, or M4, M5, M6 location would be ideal. Starting salary to £45k plus 5 weeks' holiday.
This is a small friendly software company, the 2 Directors still enjoy working as hands-on consultants and they have a very strong support, technical and software development team. People like working here and they have very low staff turnover, which says a lot for the environment and prospects. They own their product which is a SQL Server based finance, property management, procurement and asset management solution that sits on top of an accounting software solution.
They now need an additional, experienced client facing Functional Consultant with the project experience to be able to understand the clients' requirements and put together a project plan for an implementation with customers. So you will work with clients through the entire software implementation process doing:
- Requirements
- Workshops
- Specifications
- Set-up and configuration
- Software training
- Go-live and some post go-live support and hand holding
- You will need to have financial software experience and be comfortable talking to accountants about their chart of accounts.
If you also have experience of implementing property management software, this would be a real bonus as the software is used by property companies for:
- Accounting & Finance
- Property Maintenance
- Facilities Management
- Rent Collection
- Procurement
- Asset Management
The clients here tend to stay with the company forever, and they also continue to win new business every year, so this is a very successful and profitable software consultancy.
As an Implementation Consultant the level of expertise in the software and the property sector is phenomenal, so you will learn a huge amount quickly from working with such a good team; you will never be thrown in at the deep end, and this is a mentoring and coaching environment.
