Software Sales Executive who has previously sold Accounting and /or ERP software solutions, to work for a small, long standing and very successful reseller of the full stack of Sage software solutions. One of the nice things about this role is that clients are all in South East England and at least 50% of them are in the London area (mostly central London), so there will be local travel without trekking up and down the country.
You can be office based, or you can work from home and come into the office once a week, the choice is yours. Starting salary will be up to the £45k mark with an OTE of £80-85k. (If your experience is more at the junior end of software sales then you would be looking at a starting package of around a £30k base and an OTE of £55k).
You will sell the full range of Sage accounting, ERP and CRM software (both on premise and in the Cloud) including Sage ERP X3, Sage 200, Sage 1000, Sage 50, Sage Payroll, Sage Construct and Sage CRM.
You should be capable of doing the full new business sales cycle from generating your own leads and making calls, following up marketing emails, arranging client visits, demoing the software, producing the documentation, quotes and tenders, and making the close. You will also sell upgrades and add-ons and do some account management.
They are looking for a Sales Executive / BDM who is gung ho, full of life, really good at building relationships and nurturing leads, keen to make money and exceed targets and happy working in a small company environment. You will be naturally curious and have a lot of perseverance and staying power.
A lot of their work is focused on selling to top London investment companies, hedge fund firms and the finance sector and well as charities and not-for-profits so you will get lot of variety and interesting people to talk to.
