- Are you a top performing Software Sales Account Manager working for an accounting software or ERP software reseller? This is a fabulous Account Management role where you will have a lot of autonomy, the freedom to organise yourself and look after your clients the way that you want to and a great team supporting you. You will look after client accounts upselling on 3 different ERP and accounting software products and services. A competitive package is also on offer with a base salary of £35-45k depending on your level of experience, car allowance, bonus scheme, health insurance, and laptop, mobile and uncapped commission. The great thing about this job is that you will inherit and look after the best 50 accounts that have been generating £340k in margin p.a. This is additional revenue from these clients for extra services, licences, software upgrades, modules, software training, and consultancy and project management. Your job is to keep in touch with these clients, to understand their businesses and to be the first person they call about their software needs. You will sell a variety of accounting and ERP software from three different vendors and should have a good understanding of the ERP and accounting software market. You will need to be in the office in Surrey a lot at the start of your job, to get to grips with the software and your client base. But after that initial period, one visit each week to the office will be enough, and the rest of the time you will be working from home or visiting your clients. Why is this a great job? The Sales Director is a very hands off manager; he wants to be able to leave you alone to organise yourself and work out how and when to see to your clients, as he has enough to do already. So you will be given freedom to run your accounts your way. The software they sell is exceptionally good and you have an award winning support team behind you. And they have a very good new business sales team, which will supply you with lots of new accounts to manage.
