- Description
New role for an Accounting / Finance Software Implementation Consultant to work for a global ERP solutions company based in the City of London. If you have experience implementing accounting or finance solutions in a client facing software consultancy role, you are dedicated, motivated and looking for a real career move, and you have implemented (UK) accounting or financial software or the accounting modules of ERP software, this is a fabulous place to work where you career will really take off. Base salary (for 4-5 years+ experience) to £55k basic plus a good bonus of between £5k and £8k.
It is the people here that make this a great place to work, plus their excellent level of client service which has won them many awards, plus the superb ERP and accounting software that they work with. They are a global software firm with offices in 6 countries and around 150 employees. Clients are mainly in London and the South East and you will be out on site much of the time, with some flexibility for days at home, but you will need to come into their offices in the City of London as well. So your location will ideally be somewhere in South East England with a reasonable commute into London when required to do so.
They have a strong team of some of the most talented ERP consultants, support, development and sales staff and they continue to grow globally, with a full order book of work. Right now they are short of an experienced Accounting or Finance Software Consultant who knows the UK accounting rules so your skills need to have been gained here in the UK. You will need to spend the first month or two learning and cross training to their ERP product. Training is provided in London and you can stay in a company apartment on week days during this time if you want to.
You will talk to the stakeholders, define and gather requirements, run workshops, configure the software, test changes and implement their accounting software solution, as well as train the users and offer post implementation support in the early phases. Typically projects are around 80-100 users and can involve multiple sites and multi-currency implementation; they also have some clients with up to 500 users.
They are looking for someone who is motivated and articulate with good interpersonal and client facing skills and strong knowledge of accounting software. If you have any additional experience in the manufacturing sector, this would be an added bonus.
This is a great place to work. The company has grown and developed at a remarkable pace over the last 15 years, they look after their staff and your career prospects will be excellent into whatever area you want to progress to.
