- Description
- A big increase in business and project work means that our client is looking for an extra Application Support Consultant to work on their 2 ERP and accounting software products. You will be cross trained in both products as long as you have previous experience in supporting similar accounting or ERP software solutions. Starting salary to £28k plus a range of benefits and very good software training. You will be office based. You will have the opportunity to get involved in consultancy once you are skilled in their 2 software products and you will start with bits of training and specifying new reports before moving onto more complex software implementation and consultancy. They are happy for you to progress slowly and do a joint support and consulting role. As you progress, your salary will increase so prospects are excellent here. This reseller is focused on ERP and accounting software for small and medium sized commercial businesses. So a company with 10 to 50 staff is a typical prospect for them. They have particular strengths with companies in the facilities, finance and manufacturing sectors. A good project for them would entail 40 days of software implementation and consultancy that would cover everything from discovery and requirements through implementation, training, go live and support. You will need to be office based so you need to live in commuting distance of Ferndown in Dorset. You will have worked on Application Support and have covered ERP, or accounting software. Plus you will understand SQL Server and be able to write SQL queries. Enthusiasm and very good customer service skills will be appreciated plus a desire to progress and learn and become a full blown Implementation Consultant in the future. To start with, you will provide telephone, email and remote software support to their client base, logging your calls and escalating problems where necessary to reach a successful conclusion. They will be investing heavily in your product training and giving you a massive opportunity to progress, so they are expecting you to have at least 12 months of ERP or accounting software application support experience. You will have supported products such as Dynamics NAV, Exchequer, Sage 200, Dynamics AX, Infor SunSystems, SAP Business One, Exact, Epicor, Greentree, eFinancials, Access Dimensions, Sage 1000, Pegasus Opera, JDE, Kerridge, OpenAccounts or similar.
