Interesting and varied role for a Data Analyst / Data Specialist / Data Migration expert who can also do some ERP software support where required. So you need to have ERP software / Accounting / Finance Software experience but also have good knowledge of data migration, data conversion, data structure and manipulation (Excel) and SQL Server. Starting salary is up to £35k but could be a little higher if you have strong data manipulation and migration experience with ERP or accounting software support skills.
You will mainly work with Excel, SQL Server, CSV files, MS Access and ERP concentrating on data quality and data migration. The role will be to work with the ERP & finance software implementation team and take data from the old software system and convert it into a format which can be imported into the new ERP software that is being implemented. You will also do data investigation work, write reports to client specification and provide ERP software support where required.
This is a close knit and friendly software team not far from Emsworth in Hampshire. They are looking for a bright, enthusiastic Data Specialist to join their software consultancy; the company is financially stable, innovative and has a strong client base with some very interesting software implementation projects lined up. Essential skills:
- ERP or Accounting / Finance Software experience
- MS SQL Server
- Data conversion / Data migration
- Data structure, quality and manipulation
- Excel
Any additional experience of SQL Server stored procedures or views, MS Access, T-SQL, MS Dynamics AX, Dynamics NAV or Dynamics GP or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) would all be useful. The role is office based with very little travel.
Essentially if you love data, Excel and SQL and have some ERP or accounting software knowledge as well, then you will do very well in this role.
