Description

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated Sales Executive / Business Development Manager who has previous experience selling Accounting Software, or ERP or Expenses Software.

Accounting software sales expertise would be ideal (SAP Business One, Sage 200, Dynamics NAV, PS Financials, Infor SunSystems, Access Accounts, Exchequer, Pegasus Opera, Open Accounts, Dynamics GP or similar) as this would mean that you had a good understanding of the finance functions of their software such as sales, purchase & general ledger which would help when you are demonstrating it to clients. However, ERP sales or expenses software sales would also be relevant.

Competitive package with base salary to £50k, double OTE, £5k car allowance, and 5 weeks' holiday.

This software company sells, implements and supports a range of invoicing & procurement solutions that offer SME clients excellent value for money; it is a subscription based software solution that is up to 50% cheaper than the alternatives, sold for an initial 3 year period. Your sales commission comes out of the first year of revenue and an average deal is around £30k but varies widely from £5k to £250k deals.

They have a very powerful marketing programme which generates a lot of leads and they also have free version of these software products that clients can use to get them started.

As a Sales Executive / BDM the majority of your clients will be in London; they will be SME companies with 2 -12 people in their accounting and finance team. You will demonstrate the software yourself and show the benefits of the solution and once you are up and running you will do 3 to 8 deals per month. You need to have been responsible for the entire software sales cycle from initial client contact, setting up the appointments, demonstrating software, quotes and proposals to close of deal.

The Sales Director is a passionate, positive individual who is a mentor, a coach and a motivator. He is looking for an experienced Accounting, Expenses or ERP software sales person with a track record of closing. Crucially you must be happy to do your own demonstrations, but there is a library of stock demos that have been developed that can be utilised.

This company have invested massively in the cloud based subscription product and they have grown from 12 people to 27 people over the last 12 months. This is a chance to be in at the right time and the right place and make serious money. If you have been selling Accounting, Expenses or ERP software to the SME sector you will clean up in this role. This is a really great sales job.

You will need to be happy working in London, and their offices are well located for Chancery Lane, Blackfriars, Waterloo and Temple underground stations.
