Sage Line 500 or Sage 1000 Support, home based or office based

Sage Line 500 or Sage 1000 Support Consultant / Application Support. This role can be a home based remote job, or you can work from their offices, or have a mix of the two, getting the best of both worlds. They are flexible provided you have strong Sage L500 or 1000 support experience.

This is an opportunity to move to a highly regarded, successful Sage reseller and work with their long-standing clients, as well as learning the Sage ERP X3 product. They are happy to look at candidates working on Sage Line 500 or 1000 for a software reseller, or people working in an internal support or systems management role. Starting salary to £35k plus benefits including private health care.

This software reseller is part of a large group with 7 UK offices; they have been in business for over 20 years and they continue to go from strength to strength. They have teams of Project Managers, Consultants, Developers and Support staff working with the full range of Sage products including Sage 200, Sage CRM, Sage Line 500, Sage 1000 and Sage ERP X3. It is a busy and professional environment, but offers a good work / life balance and many of their staff have been with them for over 10 years, which is a testament to the way the business is managed and staff are recognised for their contribution.

They are looking for someone who is well organised, can manage their own time and has good problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Above all, you will have rapport with your clients and the ability to build good relationships that will last.

Your background:

• Sage Line 500 or Sage 1000 Application Support or Systems Management experience at an end user or a software reseller
• SQL and / or Crystal Report writing
• Good documentation skills
• Sage Finance and Distribution preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Keen to learn new software and to support Sage ERP X3 as well as Sage 500 and 1000
• Problem solving and troubleshooting experience
• Self-motivated and self-managing
