- This business software reseller is looking for a Sales Executive / Business Development Manager with a genuine consultative sales approach, who has sold CRM or accounting or ERP application software as well as support contracts and ancillary networking / hardware / cloud based solutions. So you will be a very good all round software sales person who can nurture strong relationships with your clients. A very competitive package is on offer with a base salary of up to £40k, an OTE of £90k uncapped, car scheme, private health insurance, laptop and mobile and non-contributory pension. As the Business Development Manager, You will have a lot of autonomy and a very good marketing team to support you. Plus you will need to hire a junior sales person and train and mentor them to help you with tele-sales, lead generation and marketing.There will be scope to further expand your sales team in the future. One of the real benefits here is that 90% of their client base is in the Bucks, Beds, Cambs and Northants area so there will be less travel then the majority of software sales roles. There will be a strong focus this year on launching and selling their new Cloud based CRM solution alongside their other products. They are looking for someone who has sold accounting, CRM or ERP application software but has a general interest in all aspects of IT software and hardware and is looking for a role with a lot of variety. Working alongside the Technical Director you will target new clients, demonstrating a range of software solutions and establishing long term, profitable customer relationships. You should be happy to create your own leads (including cold calling), produce quotes, demonstrate the software and services provided and work with your clients through the entire sales process to deal closure. The company has been in business for 17 years and has grown into a specialist Cloud software reseller working in the ERP, CRM and accounting software sector with SME businesses. You will know how to nurture your relationships with your clients, to be a great account manager and to demonstrate the benefits of the software solutions to fit their needs.
