Application Support Consultant - ERP or Business Software

This role is based in a beautiful area of central Harrogate close to the railway station. Our client is looking for a bright, enthusiastic Application Support Consultant or Support Analyst who has worked with ERP software or similar business application software such as Time & Attendance, Payroll, Property Management, Construction Software, Legal Software, DMS, Accounting, CRM Software, Document Management, HR Software, Advertising Software or anything similar. They will pay up to £25k and will train you in their own bespoke software applications.

This is a small software company with a ten year track record of developing innovative business application software that integrates with ERP, CRM and Accounting Software which they sell into a niche market. They are currently undergoing a massive redevelopment of their software solutions in MVC and .NET, so they will have shiny new solutions that will be good for years to come.

They have 2 UK offices; the Harrogate office has around 12 staff and they need an additional 1st Line Support Consultant or Support Analyst to cover application support, data migration, problem solving and some client facing meetings with customers. In the future, the role could evolve into software implementation, consulting and training.

They are interested in anyone with Application Software Support experience who is motivated, bright and ambitious and keen to take on a very varied role with great prospects.

Skills needed:

• Upwards of 18 months Business or ERP Software Application Support experience
• Very good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to liaise with clients on the phone and build relationships
• You love problem solving
• Attention to detail
• Good team working ability (lively, busy, friendly small team)
• Keen to progress into consulting, training, pre-sales or software implementation
