This is a small, successful and growing software company focused on ERP and CRM software solutions for mid-market SME's, with around 100 clients in the local area. They are looking for a Junior level person to join their software support team - salary from £20 - 22k, plus training. They are based near Evesham but in a rural location, so you will need your own transport to get there.

This is a brilliant chance for a Junior Application Support Consultant / IT Support Consultant / Helpdesk Analyst with some SQL Server knowledge to join the team and get involved in supporting ERP, Accounting and CRM software.

Candidates need some experience of SQL Server, doing things like back-ups and SQL Server restores and scripting; you will already know how to find faults on the database. You really enjoy talking to people on the phone and are good at building rapport with your customers. Solving application support queries is more about listening and understanding the issue, than about technical knowledge. What you will get here is both aspects, supporting the application side of the software and the technical side.

You will provide 1st Line Support and helpdesk services to clients by telephone, email and remote connection.

You will then learn to manage and progress client support calls, taking control of your client requests, queries and problems and seeing them through to resolution, or identifying high priority customer issues and escalating them to management or the software vendor. You will log and document all client enquiries and keep CRM records up to date and accurate.

They will train you in their accounting and CRM software but any experience of Sage 50, Sage 200, Access Accounts, Iris Exchequer, Dynamics NAV, BrightPearl, Sage 500, Unit4 Agresso, Pegasus Opera or any other accounting software, or Sage CRM software would all be useful and a bonus.

They are looking for someone who is personable, resourceful, energetic and keen to learn.

They would also consider a new Graduate who has done their work experience in an IT support role and has plenty of enthusiasm and wants a career in IT.
