2 x Application Support Consultants, accounting software skills

2 Application Support Consultants needed for new roles with an exceptional global software company with offices in 6 countries, and their head office based in Milton Keynes. With 30 years' experience in their specialist software field, they have become the leading software provider in their niche market and have over 500 staff across the world. A competitive package is on offer with base salary from £25-35k plus profit share and private health insurance.

They are looking for 2 more Software Support Consultants who have knowledge of the accounting elements of application software (or who have an accounting qualification such as AAT and have supported application software), or have supported property management software. Their clients are successful property companies with massive portfolios of commercial and residential property.

You might already be supporting clients on accounting software solutions such as Sage 200, Dynamics NAV, PS Financials, Pegasus Opera, Access Dimensions, SunSystems, SAP Business One, Sage 50, Iris Exchequer, Dynamics AX, eFinancials or Coda Dream.

Or you may be an Application Support Consultant working with ERP software, Property Software, Dealer Management systems like Pinewood or Kerridge, Construction software such as COINS or something similar, which has an accounting or finance module that you support, or perhaps you gained an accounting qualification such as AAT and you support a different kind of software product. Basically, you understand accounts payable and receivable in the software and would be able to help clients with queries.

They are looking for very bright Application Support Consultants, well educated (high level of education or degree standard), full of enthusiasm and with excellent communication and customer service skills who love helping people out. Ideally you will also know how to interrogate databases using SQL.

You will look after client queries, communicating by phone, email and remote connection and prioritising the problems, logging your calls and documenting your work and finding solutions yourself, or escalating issues where necessary. Some queries are small fixes or information needed, others can be quite complex problems. They want people with initiative who can find stuff out and take personal responsibility for the client, owning the issue and taking it all the way to resolution if possible.

Their solution has ERP software functionality and covers property rentals, property maintenance, tenants, rent collections, real estate, accounting, finance and billing, property listings, asset management and facilities management. It is built with the latest technology, and is sold as cloud based subscription software. The company is very successful, turns over £500 million and is growing at the rate of 15% per year.
