WMS Software Implementation Consultant - Belfast

Software Implementation Consultant with experience of implementing WMS software (Warehouse Management Systems, or Logistics or Supply Chain Software) to work for a successful software consultancy in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Flexible remote working from home, some office based days, travel to client sites and some visits to the Midlands / North East of England will be involved. Base salary to £32k plus £4800 car allowance.

They would also be happy to take on a WMS Implementation Consultant who lives in the Midlands or North East of England and would be happy working in Belfast during the week and coming back to England at the weekends (or perhaps wants to relocate).

This software consulting company has been in business for over 20 years and focuses on flexible and scalable Warehouse Management, Supply Chain and Logistics Management software that integrates with ERP solutions. Their product covers goods received, picking, product traceability, dispatch management, load and route planning, order processing, inventory, ecommerce, dashboards and back office systems and are commonly used by wholesalers and cash & carry businesses. They are authors of their own WMS software which is delivered both on premise and in the Cloud as a SaaS model.

Organic growth has created the need for an additional Software Implementation Consultant with WMS software implementation experience, to work on client sites in Ireland. They are looking for someone who can get on well with clients with a friendly, professional manner and build long term relationships.

You will look after the full lifecycle of WMS software implementations, use your analysis skills to gather and document functional requirements from the clients, configure the software to meet their needs, migrate the data from legacy systems, test and implement the WMS software, train the users and hand hold during the implementation phase.

They typically work with large companies who often have multiple warehouses and often 100,000's of different products, so they are dealing with huge quantities of deliveries and the throughput of products through the supply chain is remarkable. Therefore, you need to have good WMS software implementation experience to understand the clients' processes.

They are looking for a confident, motivated, well presented individual with proven experience as a WMS Consultant, or an Implementation Consultant, Applications Consultant or Professional Services Consultant working with Warehouse Management Systems, and the ability to succeed in a busy and varied client facing environment. Any experience of implementing software for cash & carry or wholesale companies would also be a bonus.
