- Description
This software consulting company are looking to hire an extra Professional Services Consultant / Software Implementation Consultant with experience implementing Property Managament software and will pay up to £60k. They need an experienced client facing Functional Consultant with the project experience to be able to understand clients' business requirements and put together a project plan for the implementation of property management software.
So you will work with clients through the entire implementation process doing:
- Requirements
- Workshops
- Specification
- Configuration and Set up
- User training
- Go live and some post go-live support.
You need to have strong property software implementation experience and will be comfortable talking about facilities management, property maintenance, asset management, accounting and other property management issues. Experience of property management solutions such as Yardi, Qube, Manhattan, Atrium, Landmark, TopUp, Trace or similar would be fantastic and would allow you to get involved in interesting projects right from the start.
As a Professional Services Consultant you will spend on average one day week in the office near Cheltenham and then 2 days on site and 2 days at home. This can change of course and occasionally you might have to be on client site in far Northern Scotland for 2 solid weeks; that is very rare but as a Consultant you are expected to take the "rough with the smooth" and travel where required. Ideally you live within 2 to 3 hours drive of Cheltenham.
Their property solution sits on top of an accounting system, and is used by estate and property companies for: Accounting & finance, Valuations, Portfolio management, Asset Management, Tenancy management, Property maintenance, Lease renewals, Property inspections, Facilities management, Rent collection, P2P, Landlord costs and more.
This role can be home based but you will need to be able to get to their office in the West Country at least once every week and you will be travelling to client sites throughout the UK. They also have projects overseas in Africa and the Middle East, but it is extremely rare for a consultant to have to travel abroad.
This is a small friendly software company; the 2 Directors' work as hands on consultants, as well as running the business and they have a strong support, technical and development team. People like working here, they have very low staff turnover and everyone has a very important part to play.
The clients tend to stay with them forever, and they continue to win new business; this all helps them to stay a very successful and profitable company. As a consulting company, their level of expertise in the software and the property sector is phenomenal, so you will learn a huge amount quickly from working with such a good team.
