- Description
- Top role for an Implementation Consultant / Software Consultant / Professional Services Consultant with strong SQL Server skills and experience of accounting, employee expenses, Purchase to Pay or web based e-invoicing and purchasing software. This is a home based role working for a leading reseller on up-to-date Cloud software products and this job is really for someone who is happy to work in London and the surrounding areas, as many of their clients are in the London area. Starting salary to £50k (max) plus private health care, pension, laptop and mobile. You will work with clients who are using existing financial software like MS Dynamics GP, SunSystems, MS Dynamics NAV, Sage ERP X3, Coda, PS Financials, Exchequer, Sage 1000, Access Accounts, SAP Business One and SAP - it could be any of these. Your job starts with extracting a lot of information from these clients about the procurement processes that they have, and you will need to be good at dealing with finance people, including FD's. Then you will work through the total software implementation life-cycle from client workshops, software configuration, installation, go-live and client training to deliver a solution that meets their requirements. You will create the solution using your technical skills, especially SQL, although there are developers and technical consultants, so you don't need to be a developer. You will learn how the client runs their procurement processes and create a solution for them. Their software has many unique features and is a highly configurable and powerful purchase to pay solution with many modules including e-invoicing, staff expenses, time-sheets, spend control, and automated purchase orders and it helps eliminate paper in the accounts department which can only be a good thing! They are looking for a dynamic, effective and versatile consultant - a technical background with SQL Server is a must as is knowledge of accounting, e-invoicing or cloud purchase-to-pay. So you will have a combination of: *Full software implementation project experience *Client facing consulting work *SQL Server skills *Accounts and finance knowledge *You can hold a room and deliver a wicked presentation *You're a fast learner and can cope with change *You can look after multiple projects concurrently As a Consultant here you will work with the Head of Consulting (who is also the Project Manager), who will allocate projects and times for you, but you will organise your own diary and workload so you need to be self-managing. Why is this a great job? *Most of the work is in London *Really cool software, cloud based and state of the art *Market leading product, expect huge growth and massive career opportunities *The company is building and growing on rock solid foundations *Interesting projects *Lots of autonomy *Nice people Contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing as soon as you can to find out more and to apply.
