Job Type Permanent Full Time
Location Redditch, Worcestershire

Sector Project Manager
Salary £45000 - £50000 per annum

Job Ref 18162211_1517392367
Description

ERP Project Manager, great prospects with small, award winning and rapidly expanding software reseller, the fastest growing partner in the SAP Business One channel, as recognised and awarded by SAP UK. Coming on board now will give you a lot of autonomy, working with a tightly knit and excellent team on a cloud-based ERP product from a top 3 ERP vendor. Salary to £50k.

This is an office centric company based between Redditch and Stratford-upon-Avon with probably less travel then many resellers as the product is cloud based, so there are more days in the office with the consultants. Generally, you will out on client site 2 days a week and in the office with the consultants and developers the other 3 days. So ideally you will live within an hour's drive of their offices near Redditch.

They need an experienced ERP Project Manager who can run 10-12 ERP projects simultaneously. This is a lynchpin role as it is a new position and right at the start of formal project management within the business.

The role is about process, control and communication, so you will need to have solid ERP project management experience and be used to the challenges of:

  • Oversold software
  • Lack of consulting resource
  • Limited budget
  • Not enough hours in the day

This is a newly created role, as previously the Consultants have done this and so you will be the sole Project Manager and you can organise the way the projects are managed as you wish, within reason.

This is an opportunity to take control and instigate solid ERP project management processes that are both commercial and robust.

The benefits

  • 10-12 projects on the go simultaneously and growing
  • There are some micro projects, 5-20 days
  • Fresh ERP implementation projects are 50 -200 days, these are typical new projects

The role is to work with the solution architect on SAP Business One and the 10 strong technical team. You will have full ERP project management skills, able to run kick off meeting, project plans, issue lists, risk registers, and manage the budget and the consultants.

You will be determined, ambitious, keen to make a difference and a plate spinner, with good PM skills, organised and disciplined and solid ERP project experience.
