- Description
Junior ERP Consultant or ERP Support
If you have some ERP Software Implementation and / or ERP Support experience, this could be a great move for you into a software reseller, where you will learn the full software implementation life cycle, helping out on projects and working with a friendly, small team of ERP Consultants who will mentor you, and train you and support you as you grow and develop into a Consultant. Starting salary from £24k - £28k depending on your background and level of ERP software knowledge.
The company has been in the ERP software business for 10 years and has built a loyal client base, and is doing very well, having doubled their turnover in the past year. As such, they are expanding their consulting team and need a bright, enthusiastic person with a passion for ERP and technology, who is personable and gets on well with people.
The office is located in the countryside near Uttoxeter and between Stafford, Burton-on-Trent and Ashbourne, so you will need a car and should be happy to travel to client sites where required.
They have built their success on delivering robust, efficient ERP software implementations every time, and by being customer centric, approachable and friendly.
You need to have ERP software skills from an end user or reseller environment, either in implementation, systems admin or support, and an understanding of business processes and ideally some knowledge of SQL or Reporting or Data Migration. You enjoy talking to stakeholders to find out their business requirements, you love problem solving, you can think laterally, you have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and you can come up with solutions.
They will give you all the on the job training you need to cross over to their ERP system and to teach you all the steps required to a successful software implementation on a client site. Their software is sold on premise and in the cloud. So you will learn about scoping, gathering requirements, workshops, system documentation, software configuration to fit, installation, data migration, go-live, training the users and post implementation support.
As with any software implementation, it can get hectic, so you need to be able to work well when the pressure is on and multi-task where necessary.
If you live in commuting distance of the Uttoxeter area and have ERP software skills, please get in touch with Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing.
