Description

This is a greenfield opportunity for an ERP Software Sales Executive to build a new Sage X3 software partnership and be in at the start of the growth of a UK Sage X3 reseller. This role is exclusive to Ambis Resourcing. We have worked with the client for 5 years recruiting Sage X3 Consultants for their overseas offices and are delighted to be building their new Sage X3 team from scratch, here in the UK.

They are open on salary but as a guide, they are looking at £50k - £80k basic, plus £6k car allowance and uncapped double OTE. Home based anywhere in the UK.

The company has been in the ERP business for over 10 years and is a leading Sage X3 partner (they are not based in the USA) with 3 global offices. This month, they have had confirmation from Sage UK to launch their operation over here as a Sage X3 partner; this will be their 4th international office, and they are looking to have an ERP Sales Executive / BDM on the ground here in the next month or so (depending on your notice period). Following on from that we will be recruiting Sage X3 Consultants into the team.

They are a well run and highly profitable software reseller with a leadership team who understand the ERP implementation process and have a track record of delivering solid projects that makes their clients come back for more and remain loyal. They have 3 UK clients already running on Sage X3, so you would have to account manage them, but the focus of this role is for an ERP sales professional to build their Sage X3 business in the UK from scratch and to be a major part of the foundation of a long-term business enterprise.

Sage X3 is a leading advanced, all-in-one mid-market ERP solution, built with true web native technology and the top of the range product from Sage UK. It is aimed at multi-site companies across multiple countries with multiple legislation and can be delivered on premise or in the cloud under perpetual license or on a subscription basis. Typical deals are around £500k, being £250k of software and £250k of services, with 200 - 500 consulting days per implementation.

1000's of companies worldwide are using Sage X3 across more than 50 countries, and because it is a web-based by design (web native) solution, clients get the exact same system regardless of whether they access it locally, or over the web. Not many other ERP solutions can offer this. It covers everything from finance, purchasing, fixed assets, warehousing, manufacturing, job costing, HR and mobile web apps, to forecasting, scheduling, logistics, and e-commerce, with specialist extensions for construction, rentals, PLM and advanced document management.

You will be someone who sees this as a greenfield initiative (and be excited by the prospect), you will need to be hands on with New Business Sales and Account Management of their 3 existing Sage X3 clients and happy to roll your sleeves up to take new clients from initial lead to close of sale. You will be happy to take on the challenge of building a team around you and growing the UK office.

You have a strong sales record in selling mid-market ERP solutions, a business savvy, creative and consultative approach, hunger for success and reward and previous success selling Sage X3, or a similar ERP product such as Dynamics NAV, NetSuite, Epicor, IFS, Dynamics AX, Access Dimensions, Infor, SAP Business One, Syspro, FinancialForce, or Unit4 BW.

They are not expecting overnight success and steady growth is the plan. This is an exciting opportunity with an amazing upside to it, but without the huge risk of a normal software start-up (as they are an existing successful Sage X3 Partner overseas) or having to work for an American company. You will be very well supported by their Sales Director overseas and their full-service consulting teams in their other 3 global offices and well rewarded for longevity and a solid sales performance.
