- Description
Nice role for a Sage 200 Consultant to work for a small reseller with a big reputation and lots of local clients in the North East area. So that means that travelling to client sites will be pretty local and you get to sleep in your own bed pretty much all the time. Salary to £36k plus benefits; office based near Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead.
They might be a small business of around a dozen staff, but they have been in the Sage market for over 30 years, they are well respected and have a loyal client base. And they are a very nice bunch of people to work with. They cover all aspects of Sage 200 but are particularly strong in the manufacturing sector.
Everyone here gets involved in all aspects of the business, so you will get plenty of variety. You will provide professional Sage 200 and Sage 50 consultancy from pre-sales, through requirements, workshops, documentation, configuration, software implementation, go-live, user training and support. In a smaller company you tend to get more responsibility, more variety and more job satisfaction.
Plus, you get to work on all the modules from Sage Manufacturing, to Commercials, Financials, Sage CRM, Payroll, BOM and Business Intelligence, as well as getting involved with SQL reporting and development.
They will look at any level of Sage 200 software implementation experience, from a year to 20 years+, they might even consider a good Sage 200 Support person who wants to move into implementation; as they are small they are flexible on your level of experience. Good SQL Server experience would be advantageous.
They are looking for someone who likes working with Sage 200, has a proactive approach, great communication skills, takes time to listen to clients' requirements and enjoys helping people getting the most from their software.
You will be out on client sites 1 or 2 days a week. There is a good team vibe here, everyone works well together, and you will get lots of cooperation and collaboration.
