- Description
A Project Manager with supplier side experience, and ERP or similar application software expertise, is required for a new role with an ERP vendor, successful globally and nationally. A typical week could be 2-3 days on site, 2 days in the office, one day from home, so your location will ideally be within a couple of hours drive of Wokingham. Competitive package - £50k to £60k base, £6k car allowance and health care.
They need a sharp, motivated ERP Project Manager who has managed several ERP projects singly and concurrently of £60k or more and has experience working for a software reseller, software consultancy or software vendor in a client facing position. You will be skilled in using project management tools, hopefully Prince 2 qualified; you convey an optimistic, confident approach to situations, you are credible, you respond well to change, and people come with you.
The company employs over 400 people globally and has around 70,000 clients. Currently in a growth phase, this role is to run software implementation projects on their mid-market ERP solution. The software covers many areas such as multi-currency accounting, facilities management, sales, supply chain, procurement, asset management, plant management, project accounting and valuations. It is delivered on premise, in the cloud and as a mobile solution. Their client base is well known FTSE 250 and blue-chip companies.
You will manage and run £60-300k single or concurrent projects which can range from 20 to 100 consulting days and working here will enhance your professional and commercial project skills and make you a brilliant Project Manager with a great set of skills.
You will be used to project lists, risk registers, issue lists, decision logs, and project plans and running kick off meetings, managing the budgets and handling escalation. You are not flustered by challenge, can handle awkward clients and get the best out of your teams of Consultants. You can negotiate, influence and develop and you have expertise in project planning, running concurrent projects, progress monitoring, and meeting project milestones and budgets.If you are an ERP Project Manager who thrives in a busy team and knows how to balance keeping the clients' happy and the team happy, with maintaining company profitability, you will thrive here.
