Application Support Consultant - Potters Bar

Application Support Consultant, 1^st Line Support, Support Analyst. This successful business software consultancy are looking to add another enthusiastic, dedicated Support Consultant to their team, who has experience of supporting any ERP or Accounting software solution for a permanent role near Potters Bar. Salary from £26k - £35k based on your level of experience. You can be office based 5 days a week, or can work from home 2 days a week if you prefer.

This is a mid-sized, professional software company, very well run, with a 30 year history of providing flexible ERP, Accounting, Payroll and CFRM software solutions as well as IT services and networking. They also have a development team who can customise software to fit requirements, develop add-on products and develop software extensions, so you will find a lot of variety here. Clients are in finance, manufacturing, construction, professional services, retail, distribution and many other sectors.

As part of their lively, busy support team, you will give first line support to their clients by telephone, email and remote connection, answering their queries on accounting and ERP software solutions, documenting issues, using your creative thinking and problem-solving skills, and escalating where necessary. You will respond to client calls in a professional, friendly manner, review outstanding issues, maintain quality service levels and ensure that you keep the clients informed of progress on their cases.

A background within application support or ERP / accounting software consultancy is required, supporting solutions such as Sage 200, Dynamics NAV, Infor M3, SunSystems, Pegasus Opera, Sage 500, Dynamics GP, Intact, SAP Business One, Epicor, Exchequer, Access Dimensions, Dynamics AX, PS Financials, QAD etc. or other software that has finance modules such as property management software, construction software, legal accounting software, DMS software or similar.

You need strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task and a friendly, personable manner. You stay calm under pressure and always put the customer first.
