This is a superb opportunity for a top-notch solution software sales person, to shift into a lucrative niche and make some good money. The product is inventory management and demand forecasting which bolts on to ERP solutions and provides the perfect solution for companies to optimise their stock. So they are looking for a New Business Sales person who has worked with similar types of software, such as Supply Chain, Inventory or WMS software, or ERP software. It links very well with all the major ERP systems such as Dynamics NAV and AX, Sage X3, JDE, SAP, Infor, and many other bespoke solutions.
If you have sold Supply Chain Software or WMS Software into the wholesale or retail market, they would be very keen to talk to you. Ideally you will live within 90 minutes' drive of the Bromsgrove / Redditch area as you will have to spend dome time in the office.
The MD is still an active salesman and is very supportive of the sales team. The product is very sellable, if you can talk to the right client this is a straight forward sales process, with an obvious bottom line reward. They have a good marketing team and appointment bookers; however, you will need to generate some leads yourself. There are not enough leads gifted to you to keep you busy, so you will need to do some of your own cold calling, emailing and lead generation. You should then be able to comfortably handle the full life cycle of the sales process, from initial meeting, through determining the business requirements, presenting the findings to the technical team, presenting to the client and closing the deal.
The company employs around 350 people worldwide, and in the UK has grown 25% per annum for the last 6 years. It's an entrepreneurial environment, where you will have the chance to go after opportunities and markets and will get a lot of support from the company and the directors. They don't have corporate limits and paperwork to waft through and they make decisions quickly and efficiently. You also get invited to great company events in Europe twice a year.
