ERP Project Manager with retail software or ERP software experience is sought for a leading group of software companies with 6 UK offices. This role is to manage MS Dynamics NAV projects, primarily for retail clients. It is based near Bicester; they are flexible on your location but ideally you will live somewhere from the Midlands to London, the West Country or the South. To £60k plus car allowance and bonus. Travel to client sites will be the norm.
This hugely successful provider of end to end solutions across the ERP and Retail systems market has demonstrated consistent growth with a combined group focus on MS Dynamics and Sage solutions, providing a new level of leverage within marketplace.
You will be responsible for managing your project consulting team, producing the project initiation documents, maintaining the project plan, communicating with stakeholders, dealing with project issues and risks, managing change logs and running the projects from start to finish, supporting the PS Manager.
They are looking for a client focused Project Manager who can engage with key decision makers and manage the consultants and has ideally some knowledge of the retail sector. It is essential that you have a good understanding of ERP and / or Retail software and ideally have experience project managing and delivering solutions to the retail sector. This is not just simple software rollouts. You need to have managed projects with ongoing development requirements. Any additional experience of the brewery industry would be a bonus.
Typical projects can be anything from smaller 50-60 man days, up to more complex projects of 200+ man days. SQL skills are required, and obviously if you have worked with MS Dynamics NAV before, you would have an advantage.
You are someone who manages people and projects without getting fluttered, you can work independently and have strong organisational, communication and people skills. You are quality and customer focused, you are enthusiastic, and you can think on your feet. You have previously worked with professional project methodologies and project management software, and you can multi-task and get the priorities right.
