Description

We are looking for an organised and influential Project Coordinator, to work for a business application software company based near Eastleigh. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an outstanding software consultancy and take on a lot of responsibility. Starting salary to £45k.

They need a decisive, ambitious candidate with strong application software knowledge who has worked as a Project Coordinator in an IT Application software company and is particularly strong with internal staff management and recruitment, controlling budgets and timelines, and working with clients to realign their expectations, and work through the project management process with them, ensuring projects are delivered on time.

You will be the main point of contact after the Project Manager, for all project activities, attending kick-of meetings, steering groups and project reviews, and will have a high level of control over timelines and budgets. You will liaise with the clients to agree project objectives, then organise resources, carry out risk assessment, provide progress reports and maintain risk logs.

You will manage the PM's, the teams of Implementation Consultants and the Support Analysts, and create training plans, handle their appraisals, and deal with recruitment, assessing CV's and interviewing prospective candidates.

You will also manage workshops, create business process documents, and maintain good communication with stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of software implementation projects. This will also involve liaising with the sales teams and the software developers. Excellent time management and the ability to balance your work load are essential.

Candidate Profile:

  • Project Coordination or Project Management experience with Application Software is essential such as ERP software, Legal software, Accounting software, Payroll, Service Management, MIS, HR, Manufacturing, Dealer Management systems, Payments, MIS, Time & Attendance, e-Commerce, CRM software or similar
  • Enthusiastic, driven, firm and resolute and able to think on your feet
  • Sound business process knowledge and good analysis skills
  • Able to communicate professionally and confidently with clients face to face and on the phone
  • Experienced in application software projects, progress reports, project scheduling, risk logs
  • Pro-active, well organised, with attention to detail
  • Strong people manager
  • Able to build strong client and staff relationships
  • Excel experience.
