- Description
This is an innovative fast-moving ERP software company based in Bromsgrove, supplying market leading ERP and Logistics solutions. They are growing and need an extra Support Consultant with ERP or Accounting / Finance software support experience. They will happily look at junior level people at around £22-23k, or a more senior Support Consultant up to £30k.
This support role is on ERP side, they are covered on the CRM side at the moment. They need someone with decent Application Support skills, who understands ERP, DMS or accounting software and can log their calls, really listen to the clients to understand their issues, solve their problems, and escalate where necessary. SQL Server experience would be a massive advantage.
This role will progress into IT consultancy quite quickly, so you could be visiting clients within a few months shadowing an experience consultant, doing some training, or working on requirements. They are very good at mentoring and coaching and it is all very happy and easy, this is a nice environment to learn about ERP software implementation and consultancy.
They will provide mentoring and coaching and you will start by shadowing the existing consultant and then taking on more and more responsibility. The job will slowly change into consultancy and eventually it will cover the full project lifecycle covering requirements, workshops, specification, training and go live.
This would suit a bright enthusiastic individual who understands accounting and finance and is looking for a step up with good prospects. If you have done Application Support of an ERP solution, that would be an excellent background for this job.
This is a really nice place to work with good people, not too much pressure and they will make sure you have the training to do the job well. They have never lost a client and staff stay with them forever, which is a testament to the way the management run the company.
