This is a unique Sage X3 consulting opportunity. We have recruited for this client at their overseas offices for some years, and they opened their first UK office in July 2018. Since their inception 9 years ago they have become the most progressive, fastest growing and respected Sage X3 reseller in their part of the world and winners of the most awards; they are the number one Sage Partner in the Asia Pacific region and a product champion for Sage Enterprise Management. The impact they have made on the ERP market there, in a relatively short space of time, is phenomenal and they continue to expand into new global markets, the UK being the current one.

The need an additional Sage X3 Consultant - strong functional consulting, finance knowledge essential, and X3 distribution is highly desirable. Home based anywhere in the UK, salary to £65k plus car allowance and bonus. You may be working for a reseller currently, or for Sage themselves, or you may be in an internal Sage X3 implementation role at an end user site. Either way, the opportunities and career progression here are excellent.

In the UK, they are working very closely with Sage, to build an operation that can deliver Sage Enterprise Management projects on an international level, with a fast ramp up. Sage have partnered with them here and there will be a high degree of cooperation, resource sharing and joint selling, at a level not available to other Sage X3 partners in this country.

What do they want?

• An experienced Sage X3 Consultant for a permanent role, based from home anywhere in the UK
• Strong functional X3 consulting skills across the full project life cycle
• Sage X3 Finance is essential, distribution experience is also highly desirable
• Skilled at scoping, requirements, workshops, configuration, software implementation, go-live, user training, hand holding and post go-live support
• Hungry to learn, grow and develop
• Values being part of an international team and the possibility of overseas travel if desired
• An excellent command of English (written and verbal) and strong communication skills
• Excited to be part of a progressive new UK reseller and to be in at the start of their growth here

They expect to generate up to 5 new clients in the UK in the next 12 months (they have three already on board) and then start selling much bigger deals with £120k in license fees and similar spend on services in 2019. The advantage they have in selling ERP here over other Sage X3 partners, is that they can cover roll outs all over Asia and the Pacific region with their existing offices and consulting teams, so any client with operations in South East Asia will be very interested in their X3 proposition.

The quality of the ERP team at this company is fantastic, with highly experienced Functional Consultants and superb Pre-Sales Consultants. In addition, their track record of large Sage X3 projects is beyond the elements of what resellers of X3 in the UK have done, and their ability to get the most out of the X3 solutions functionality, is remarkable. They are also developing new modules and recently built their own Field Service Management module, covering project & job costing, scheduling, billing, maintenance service and time keeping.

By 2020, this company are going to be the dominant consulting firm in the UK for large, complex Sage Enterprise Management projects. You do not need to live near Slough, you can be based from anywhere in the UK.
