- Description
This leading ERP software consultancy are looking for an experienced Project Manager who has delivered projects working with either ERP software or has managed other large-scale IT application software projects and understands the software development life cycle.
They are based near St. Neots in Cambridgeshire and you can work from the office or be home based, either way you will spend a day a week in the office and a couple of days a week on client sites. In the initial stages you will probably have to be in the office for a few days a week to get to know the software and the team. Starting salary to £55k plus bonus and car allowance.
They are ideally looking for someone with 5 years' experience or more as a software Project Manager but would also hire someone with 2 to 3 years project management, looking for their next step up.
You will be motivated and driven with excellent organisational skills. You have experience of the full project life cycle and can schedule, manage and deliver profitable software projects on time and to budget, with an eye for detail, a focus on client service, the ability to deal with change and overcome the hurdles and build relationships to drive projects forward.
So you will run enterprise level ERP projects, managing change, scope change, creep, corralling the implementation consultants and keeping the client happy and informed. Experience with capacity / demand planning, negotiation and managing change is desirable.
Ideally you will have knowledge of ERP software, but other enterprise application software would also be suitable, such as WMS software, Field Service software, HR & Payroll software, Construction software, Property software, MRP software, Retail software, eCommerce software, Supply Chain etc. You will have strong Excel expertise and as they use MS Project for planning, plus the SureStep methodology, any knowledge of these would be helpful.
The company has around 50 staff and is still growing. They are a leading supplier of MS Dynamics AX and Dynamics NAV ERP software to the supply chain sector, plus add-on solutions, and a top Microsoft Gold Partner, delivering ERP projects across the UK, Europe and the USA.
