This is an opportunity for a bright Application Software Support Consultant to learn SQL Server and multiple modules of an ERP software solution, working in a busy, friendly team of ERP Support Consultants, with real prospects to move into software implementation in the future if you want to. They are located in Coventry in very nice offices. Salary to £30k.
This ERP software company has been in business for 20 years+ and provides total business solutions that cover order processing, hire, parts, supply chain, accounting, sales & marketing, CRM and job orders. They have a team of 7 in Application Support and Data Analysis, providing a high level of customer support to their client base of over 300 nationwide clients. Their solution is built with .Net and SQL Server and a pretty user-friendly front end.
They are looking for a bright, dedicated candidate and you need to have software application support experience within any application software sector, so it could be ERP, Property Management or Construction software, Accounting or Financial Software, MRP, HR or Payroll, or Legal software. Whatever application software you have supported, it would be highly beneficial if you had some knowledge of the accounts / finance module and If you also have some technical skills with SQL Server or any Servers, or any database experience, that would be another bonus.
The specialist ERP software that they own and sell, covers lots of different modules and functions, so you will always be doing something different. This means the support emails and telephone calls are varied and interesting, and the team are upbeat and motivated making this a nice working environment. The applications support people work on answering support telephone calls and get a lot of support tickets through their online Portal. They use their own in-house ERP software to log and track the calls, which is a nice feature.
