- Description
Application Support Consultant to join a thriving software consultancy just south of Preston, who provide Accounting and ERP software solutions to around 400 clients in the North West of England. Starting salary to £30k plus £5k car allowance, 5% annual bonus and private healthcare.
This role is to start as an Application Support Consultant on their support desk, learn the products, then progress into a full-blown Implementation Consultant role. Once you are an ERP Consultant, there are very few overnight stays, as the majority of clients are in the nearby region - perhaps 1 or 2 night's away per month at the most. So this is an excellent opportunity to move into analysis, software implementation and consulting.
They are looking for a bright, personable Support Consultant or Support Analyst who has worked with accounting or ERP solutions such as Sage 200, Pegasus Opera, SAP Business One, Access Dimensions, Dynamics NAV, Coda, Agresso, Epicor, OrderWise, JDE, Sage 50, Xero Accounts, Infor, Dynamics GP, Priam, Deltek or anything similar, and has the desire to move into software implementation and consultancy.
Their software is a highly configurable, functional and pretty visual Windows product. It is sold on premise or in the cloud, to SME's who have between 10 - 100 users working across finance, manufacturing and distribution. The solution covers accounting, purchase, sales & nominal ledgers, stock control, purchase orders, sales & CRM, payroll, works orders and costings and works very well with a range of add-ons including e-Commerce.
You will join the Support Desk initially, giving telephone, email and remote support to your clients, whilst cross training to the product and learning the modules. Once you know the solution well, you will become a client facing Implementation Consultant, gathering clients' requirements, configuring the software to fit, installing it, and training the users, and you will have a lot of autonomy to work with your clients the way you want to, and to get good results.
This is a customer focused company that have very loyal clients who they look after well, and you will get a high degree of job satisfaction working here. The team are also very friendly and knowledgeable and will mentor and advise you as you learn the ropes. You will report to the Technical Director who is a great guy to work with.
If the location between Preston and Southport is good for you and you'd like to find out more the role, contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing as soon as possible, or drop us your CV.
