- Description
2 Implementation Consultants are required for permanent roles near Manchester, with a world class software company. Essential skills are at least 2 years' experience implementing ERP software with either strong distribution expertise or finance / accounting. Salary range is from £35-50k depending on your level of experience, plus a bonus, car allowance and healthcare.
Their ERP product is a flexible, modular mid-market solution and is an extremely robust product. The ERP team is split into 2 distinct groups: The ERP Finance/Accounting software group and the ERP Manufacturing & Distribution software group.
For both groups, the Implementation Consultant role involves business process analysis, taking the client requirements, gap/fit analysis, functional design & consulting, specification for the software developers, configuration, testing, installation and user training. Your experience will have been gained with mainstream ERP solutions such as SAP Business One, Epicor, Sage 200, Sage 500, NetSuite, Infor SunSystems, Dynamics NAV, Dynamics AX, Infor M3, Oracle eBusiness, SAP Business ByDesign, Priam, PS Financials or similar.
Essentially you need to be an energetic, enthusiastic, driven and well organised ERP Implementation Consultant. With two years or more implementing ERP solutions, you will have a strong grasp on ERP software implementation and functional consulting and will have worked on either the manufacturing & distribution modules, or the accounting & finance modules.
A normal ERP software implementation project will have one Finance Consultant and one Manufacturing & Distribution Consultant, and you will see the project through the entire lifecycle to go-live. So, you will be able to see your involvement with making decisions about the software configuration come to fruition. This is deliberate so that Consultants get more satisfaction from their work and the client gets continuity.
As an ERP Distribution & Manufacturing Consultant you need a track record of distribution software and preferably manufacturing implementation projects with mid-market ERP solutions.
As an ERP Finance Consultant here, you need to be able to work through the design of a chart of accounts with an FD and be comfortable with accounting solutions including multi-company and multi-currency accounts.
You will be excited at the prospect of working for a global, forward thinking, innovative ERP software reseller with offices in the UK and abroad.
