- Description
We are looking for a Software Implementation Consultant with business level German language or fluent German (and English). The role is to work for a software consultancy who develop and sell their own business software for a niche market. Based near Wokingham, you would have to be in the office a fair amount of time over the first 6 months (plus out on client site), as you learn the product and get to know the team. After that you will have a lot more freedom to work from home. Starting salary to £50k plus car allowance.
You will be responsible for client consultations, functional requirements, analysis, software configuration, implementation, go-live and user training, with extensive use of SQL and reporting. You will manage the day to day operations of projects, handling client expectations, being the first point of contact for queries, guiding client set up, writing reports, executing the project deliverables, and being an active member of the project team.
The role requires:
- Full life cycle implementation experience on application software projects that vary from 4 days to 50 days
- Technical skills like SQL queries and report writing, as a minimum you will be able to do a SQL select
- Client facing skills and a smooth customer service manner
- The ability to deal with clients on site with a professional, friendly manner
- Knowledge of finance such as credit notes, invoicing, purchase orders etc
You will have experience as an Implementation Consultant or Professional Services Consultant working with solutions like ERP, Dealer Management (DMS), Property Management solutions, Asset Management, Accounting software, Expense Management, Rental software, Legal accounting solutions, Construction software or anything similar.
Their product is an ERP type solution that covers purchasing, maintenance, works orders, stock control, sales & CRM, invoicing, cashflow, asset management, BI, forecasting, reporting, eCommerce and much more.
The solution is outstanding in the flexibility of its configuration, that enables clients to use it in the perfect way for their individual business. It links to accounting products like Sage 200, Sage 50, Pegasus Opera, Exchequer, Xero and so on. So the job includes integration with accounting software, and some knowledge of finance is needed, which would include things like purchasing, ordering, invoicing, credit notes etc.
It is being rolled out across the globe. Their next market is Germany and they need an experienced Implementation Consultant to join the team with fluent German or at least business level German language skills. Project work is mainly done from the office however, so even though you will be working on German projects you will only need to spend about 2 nights each month in Germany.
