Description

A thriving ERP software consultancy based near Halesowen is looking for a bright, ambitious Application Support Consultant to learn their specialist ERP solution.

It would be a bonus if you have previously supported ERP software, but they are happy to look at candidates with similar Application Support skills with commercial business software such as Dealer Management (DMS), Property Management software, Supply Chain, Construction software, Accounting, Payroll, MRP, Field Service Software, Estate Agency Software etc. If you also have some technical skills with SQL Server or any Servers, or any database experience, that would be a bonus. Salary to £30k.

As part of their support team you will respond to client enquiries via email and telephone and remote connection and troubleshoot and identify issues to find solutions to their problems. You will log and monitor your tickets, test your solutions and keep your documentation up to date.

They are looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active and communicative Application Support Analyst / Support Consultant who wants to learn and develop, has a real interest in ERP software solutions and is excellent at problem solving and providing clients with the best possible service. They have a very loyal customer base, so it's important that you communicate well, have an excellent telephone manner and put the client first.

The specialist ERP software that they own and sell, covers lots of different modules and functions, so you will always be doing something different. This means the support emails and telephone calls are varied and interesting, and the team are upbeat and motivated, making this a nice working environment.

Prospects are excellent with full training in their integrated ERP solution which covers stock control, accounting, CRM, order processing, logistics, purchasing, distribution, sales and much more. There is real potential to move on into consulting, software implementation and training, or project management in the future.

Reasons to work here:

  • You will learn many new modules of ERP software
  • You will learn SQL Server in-depth which is a skill in high demand
  • You will work with a fun, busy and happy team of support consultants
  • The manager is a decent guy, great to work with and always fair
  • You can move into software implementation or project management in the future

This is a buzzing, innovative and growing business software company with an excellent client name in their niche market. They employ enthusiastic, motivated people who share their passion. Their team is made up of Support Analysts, Implementation Consultants, and Project Managers and they are market leaders in their space.

If you have at least 12 months' experience as an Application Support Consultant or Support Analyst and would like to make a move to a great company where you will be mentored, this could be the perfect move for you.
