- Description
This is an internal role for an ERP Business Analyst or ERP Consultant or Systems Analyst with ERP software experience. The company has a 30 year track record, 5 global offices and they are based in a beautiful countryside location to the east of Leamington Spa, in stunning grounds complete with a lake. Their business is technology based, they have over 500 staff and there is much work to be done. Salary to £45k with 5 weeks holiday, free food & drink, an onsite gym, life assurance, flexi time hours, and lots of social events. A great place to work.
They recently upgraded their ERP systems and moved to SAP Business One which has now been implemented. They need an internal ERP consultant or business analyst who can look at all their business processes and how the ERP system could be better used to streamline business operations, as well as integrating it with many other areas such as EDI, HR solutions and eCommerce. The ERP solution covers distribution, sales & marketing, purchase orders, accounting, invoicing, warehousing, CRM, and much more.
You will be the key person in this award-winning business with regard to the day to day running of the ERP solution and other business systems. These systems are a mix of the new ERP solution and legacy systems so there will be some complex areas to look at. Users are in all walks of the business, so you will be an excellent communicator who can talk to people from the tech department, to the boardroom, to the warehouse and the accounts department.
They are looking for someone with strong ERP software experience, who has a thorough understanding of looking at business processes and getting the software to fit requirements. You will suggest and implement new modules, further develop the use of existing modules, work through problems logically, document your findings and write reports. You will champion the best use of their systems and will talk to stakeholders and ensure that the software is developed to meet those needs and is utilised to its full potential.
It would be useful if you have some basic accounting knowledge, and an understanding of HR systems would be a bonus as you will be getting involved with upgrading the HR & Payroll elements of the company. You will also manage their EDI which is an area that needs big improvement, so there will be plenty for you to get your teeth into and lots of challenges to face. Never a dull moment in this role!
You are likely to have worked with mid-range ERP software such as SAP Business One, Kerridge, NetSuite, Exact, Sage 200, Epicor, Greentree, Infor, Dynamics NAV, Sage 500, JDE, Protean, Pinewood, Dynamics AX, Coda, SAP Business ByDesign or something similar.
This role would suit a Business or Systems Analyst with good ERP experience, or an ERP Implementation Consultant who wants a local job with regular hours and very little travel. It's an interesting, challenging and varied internal role for an ERP software specialist and implementer, where you will have a lot of autonomy and the opportunity to learn and progress and make a difference. Their management team are visionary, very approachable and very supportive with a door open policy.
