- Description
This role is for an Account Manager who has sold in the application software market. The role is to look after the existing client base and ensure that they are happy with the software, they continue to use it, and they do more it and fully utilise the solution. It is based in between Putney, Wandsworth and Fulham in South West London and carries a starting salary up to £60k with a good commission structure.
They are looking for an ambitious, motivated and bright Account Manager who has experience working in the business application software sector. So you will have worked with solutions such as Field Service software, Construction software, Asset Management software, Property software, Rentals software, ERP software, Procurement software, Time & Expenses, Real Estate software, Dealer Management, CAFM, Maintenance software, Retail software, Pensions software, e-Commerce software, Document Management software, Hospitality software or anything similar.
The company are authors of their own innovative, modular and flexible cloud solution that is used for many different functions such as room booking, planned maintenance, facilities management, CAFM, property maintenance, repairs, asset management, stock control, planning, work orders, hazards, stock control, resource management, and contractor management. It allows property owners to manage, maintain and plan their properties and workspaces.
It is used by a range of clients, including retailers, hospitals, universities, county councils etc. For instance, some hospitals use the solution to manage the maintenance of some medical devices, so as an account manager it is crucial to see the bigger picture of what the software solution can do and then sell this extra functionality to the clients. So a solid background of solution selling working with a variety of businesses and selling different solutions would be ideal for this role.
It would suit a strategic thinker who can solve problems and who can sell the benefits to the client.

- Consultancy
- Training
- Upgrades
- New modules
- Bespoke development
They have offices in Canada, Australia, Sweden and USA. The software is classy, their market is niche, projects are well sold, and the clients love the functionality of the solution. So there are good opportunities to upsell them to additional modules, support contracts and licenses and that gives you the chance to make very good commission.
