- Description
2 Marketing Managers or Marketing Executives for interim roles (12 months initially) with an application software company based in Coventry; there are 2 positions, one paying slightly more money as it involves working for two teams and is a bit more complex. Salaries to £38k with 5 weeks holiday, weekly team lunches and life cover; their head office is within 5 minutes' walk of Coventry railway station.
These are full mix positions across the whole spectrum of marketing and require experienced and capable marketeers who can make a difference straight away. You will use all your skills to deliver top notch campaigns including direct marketing, digital and online marketing, social media including LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, attending exhibitions and client events to promote the business, writing website content, newsletters, brochures, direct mail, e-guides, email campaigns, and advertising copy and press releases.
You will work with the company directors, head of marketing, and the marketing & sales team to ensure that your marketing plans meet the objectives of the business. This will include organising team meetings, monitoring competitors, creating reports, generating and allocating leads to the sales team, organising exhibitions, ensuring regular press releases and social media content is published, writing content for their websites and blog, developing direct mail campaigns and brochures, and keeping track of their market for news and software developments.
The company is part of a large group of over 300 people, with 7 UK offices, and there will be occasional travel to three other sites in the UK. It's a dynamic and busy environment, no two days will ever be the same and you will get lots of variety to keep you interested. They have close, long term relationships with their clients, and they recognise the value of their staff and look after them well, with plenty of on-going training and personal development.
Your Profile:
- 5 years' + experience in B2B marketing roles
- Knowledge of the B2B application software market or IT sector would be a real bonus
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to produce engaging content and copy
- Marketing qualifications and / or a high standard of education
- Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Marketing automation expertise such as HubSpot, CRM, Lead Forensics, ActiveCampaign, Pure360, LinkedIn, PointDrive etc
- Enthusiastic, confident, self-starter, strong communicator, able to multi-task
