Senior ERP Consultant, food industry

Senior role for an ERP Consultant with strong experience of software implementation in the food industry, so implementation of ERP into food processing, food packaging or food distribution companies. A detailed understanding of traceability, labelling and sell by / use by dates would be great. Based in the Midlands near Solihull, you will be expected to be in the office when not out on client site. Starting salary to £55k plus £6k car allowance.

You will have worked with food industry specific solutions such as Linkfresh, Unity, Lakeview (now Kerridge) Integreater Systems, M1 from ECI, Valuechain solutions, Tropos, Dynamics AX for food or similar ERP solutions in the food sector and will have 5 years + software implementation and expertise in the full life cycle, from assisting at the pre-sales stage, to gathering requirements, business analysis, running workshops, assisting with redesign of the solution, software configuration, installation, and client training.

As a Senior ERP Consultant here, you will be involved in software implementation projects covering warehouse production, stock holding, finance, food exports, sales & marketing, raw materials, product sourcing, wholesale and supply chain and will work with some very interesting clients from small, innovative entrepreneurial companies bringing new food products to market, to large corporate food distributors and food processors.

Projects are varied as are customers, industries and markets. You will lead new implementations, advising clients on their supply chain processes and managing project plans and resources, and you should be capable of managing and coaching a team and driving the implementations to reach target on time. You will also work with the sales team to scope and estimate statements of work.

Your background:

• 5 years + ERP software implementation experience
• Strong expertise in putting software into food processing, food distribution, food retailing or food packaging clients
• Able to effectively look after several concurrent projects, and communicate implementation status and risks
• The ability to push through roadblocks and keep projects moving
• Well organised, strong analytical skills and client focused with an open, no nonsense approach
• Personable with a confident style
