- Description
We are looking for a Technical Consultant or Technical Support Consultant with good ERP and SQL Server experience, to work for an ERP software consultancy in the Manchester area. They are a small, specialist company who support, develop and implement market-leading ERP solutions and have been in business for 25 years; they have very low staff turnover and a great client base. Salary to £40k + car allowance. The role is office based in Manchester, with some flexibility for home working.
You will be working alongside their ERP Implementation Consultants doing the more technical aspects of on premise and cloud installations for their clients, which will include:
- SQL Server installation, backup and restore
- Configuration
- Installation
- Server set ups
- Software & hardware upgrades
- Getting involved in technical support assisting the consulting team
- 2nd and 3rd line support for the technical issues
You will either be a Technical Consultant or Technical Support Consultant working on ERP solutions such as Sage 200, Infor, NetSuite, Syspro, SAP Business ByDesign, SAP Business One, Dynamics NAV, Intact, Priority, Dynamics AX, Greentree, Epicor, Pegasus Opera, IFS, Movex, Sage 1000, or similar. You will used to doing SQL Server back up and restores almost every day and to dealing with client firewall issues etc and software installation.
You will be their go-to person for technical issues that come up on ERP implementation projects. You have a passion for all things technical, finding solutions to problems, and you find it easy to pick up new software and are curious about, and interested in new technology.
