Pre-Sales Consultant role based near Manchester - you will have worked with ERP software, either in a Pre-Sales position, or as an Implementation Consultant, and will be happy doing demos and presentations, doing the discovery sessions and highlighting the features and benefits of the software. Base salary to £60k plus car allowance and large bonus.
This software consultancy has been selling ERP globally for 35 years, and for 20 years in the UK. The solution has a well-established client base in the UK, good referenceability and is a solid contender in the mid-market ERP space. The solution is especially easy to configure, and tailor and the development team can offer a huge variety of functionality to the product, very easily.
The UK operation is both direct sales of the ERP solution with a consulting team of implementers and project managers, and also through their UK Partner channel.
Your background:
You will be an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant or an ERP Implementation Consultant who has done some Pre-Sales as part of their job, and really enjoys it. You will have worked on mid-market ERP solutions, you will be happy doing presentations and dealing with the discovery process and requirements, you will be used to dealing with the odd balance of pushy sales people and clueless clients, and helping both parties do the right thing and communicate with each other.
This role is to be a dedicated Pre-Sales Consultant for their direct operations, and also to be involved with the channel network when appropriate. Working with the sales team, you will conduct demonstrations of the software to potential clients, which are critical to illustrate the functionality of the software and are an integral part of the sales process. To produce good and effective demos, you will need to research the client and gather requirements to determine their needs This is a rewarding role where you can really showcase your ambition and talent.
You will be putting together demos of the solution for SME's with a turnover of £5m to £200m. You will act as the liaison between the client and implementation team to ensure successful software implementations, research specific market requirements and suggest product improvements, work with and support the marketing team to develop product support material and participate in events, and work with the professional services team, PM's and ERP Consultants
