- Description
We are looking for two bright, personable Implementation Consultants, for permanent home based roles implementing accounting software for schools and educational organisations. Experience of accounting software is essential - anything like PS Financials, Sage 200, QuickBooks, Xero, Dynamics GP, BrightPearl, Coda, Greentree, Access Accounts, Sage 50, or similar would be ideal. Interviews will be conducted remotely and you can start as soon as possible. Salary to £42k, or possibly up to £45k if you are highly experienced.
Our client sells a complete solution (mainly to the private independent school sector) that covers the whole business and online working and teaching environment, and includes accounting & finance. They have been doing incredibly well and the current Covid 19 crisis has prompted lots of their schools to push ahead with projects, as it gives them a much better cloud based platform to run the school and deliver online teaching.
These roles are permanently home based (anywhere south of Sheffield to the west, east or south coasts, Coventry is just a marker point) doing the implementation of the finance, accounting and billing part of the solution, for customers who are moving from existing schools finance systems, or are moving to cloud school systems for the first time. There is very little travel involved as implementation is done remotely, and training is web based most of the time, plus they employ dedicated full time trainers who go out on site. You will gather requirements, configure the software to fit, implement the solution and train the users, taking each client though the complete process yourself, and giving support post implementation.
Previous experience of implementing accounting / finance / billing software is essential and if you have also worked in accounts or bookkeeping before, or have an accounting qualification such as AAT, CIMA, ACCA etc., so much the better. Of course, if you have previously implemented accounts software into schools, you could be a great fit, but that is not essential! They would also be happy to look at accounts people or finance managers, who have worked in private schools, have some experience of implementing accounts software and would like to move across into software consultancy.
You will be a good communicator, personable, and happy talking to people who work in the accounting department, and to school bursars and head of schools, about their business requirements.
They are looking for candidates who want to give their clients the best possible experience through the implementation process and can build long lasting relationships, so they stay loyal and continue to use support services, training and software upgrades. You will have top notch analytical skills and will be able to manage several software implementations concurrently, which are at different stages.
The company has been in business for about 15 years, they employ nearly 150 staff, and have a reputation as a very good employer, investing in your training and personal development. Contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing to apply, or for more information.
