- Super role for an ERP Implementation Consultant who has some experience within the manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing or distribution areas and is looking to join a company that will really invest in your training and development. This is an ERP Consulting role working for a medium sized company who are authors of their own ERP software built with the latest .Net and SQL Server technology. They are passionate about manufacturing and the benefits that ERP solutions bring to this market, and in 20 years have built a great business with 3 offices and are now expanding globally. They are still a small (35 people) owner managed business and this is a place where you can really make a difference. Salary range is from £32-40k with a very good car scheme worth about £7,000 - £8,000 p.a. and company benefits. They are looking for an enthusiastic ERP Software Implementation Consultant who can take requirements, run workshops, make the necessary customisations, implement the software and train the users, and who understands the clients' business processes and has good functional experience. So once you have trained up in their ERP software, this will be a full life cycle consulting role, which will involve the usual travel to client sites, office days and some admin days at home. Good ERP or Accounting software implementation skills are vital and manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing and / or distribution knowledge is essential in order to understand your clients' business model and their requirements. Your knowledge will lie in the areas of warehousing, order processing, picking lists, forecasting, shop floor, stock control, production control, inventory, distribution etc. and you should also have an understanding of the finance side. You are someone who works well under pressure, has good functional consulting skills, builds strong relationships with your clients, has a calm approach and a confident personality and is happiest in a small to mid-sized software consultancy where you really count. This is a dynamic software company that has built a great business and has some excellent clients on board, is professional and profitable and run by a superb management team.
