Sage Application Support Consultant, cross train to Sage ERP X3

We have a new opportunity for an Application Support Consultant who has experience of Sage 200, Sage ERP 1000 or Sage Line 500 support, to join a leading reseller on their Sage ERP X3 team and move up to the larger product straight away with full training. You would be joining a team of 5 people running a busy support desk for Sage X3. Salary range from £30-38k depending on your level of experience plus life assurance, shopping discounts and good pension scheme.

Sage ERP X3 is the product that everyone wants to work on - gaining experience will bring you much greater career prospects and higher salaries in the future than the other Sage accounting and ERP solutions. And it's a really interesting piece of software to get your teeth into. Sage has already made a massive investment in X3 and they continue to develop and improve this ERP product and bring out more functionality and more modules, and this will increase demand for experienced consultants and support people further.

You need to be reasonably local to the Warrington / Manchester / Wigan area as this will be an office based role, certainly in the beginning, as you will need to learn the product and work alongside experienced people. In the long term there can be some flexibility with working from home if you want to. So you need decent 1^st Line support experience of Sage 200, Sage 1000 or Sage L500 and you will be bright, a quick learner, well educated, enthusiastic, and a good team player.

You will give first line support by phone, email and remotely, to their Sage ERP X3 clients, meeting your SLA's and developing good relationships with your customers. The X3 team is growing steadily and the product gets stronger and stronger, this is a busy department that will keep you on your toes.
